Last year it was all about the return of the 70s in fashion. We saw a lot of flared jeans, suede items and floral prints. The 70s style is very versatile. You can wear it girly (think flower prints and flowing fabrics), bohemian (e.g. maxi frocks) or more edgy (by adding metal accessories). Whatever you wish to project, this decade has got you covered.
As far as I can tell, the 70s style is still going strong. Since my wardrobe does not represent this style well, I decided to take a look in my mom’s closet. Here I found this amazing long floral printed coat (brand: Avoca). Because the coat deserves all the attention, I decided to take it easy with the rest of my outfit. I’ve opted for a beige rib sweater (brand: Supertrash) and a matching beige rib overknee skirt (brand: Supertrash. To complete my look I’m wearing over-the-knee suede boots (brand: Jimmy Choo).
