Indian summer

During autumn it is possible to experience a couple of days of unseasonably warm and dry weather – this is characteristic for an Indian summer. As of yesterday the Indian summer made its appearance. During the night temperatures drop, which means that it is still quite cold both in the morning and in the evening. It is very difficult to dress for this type of weather because even though during the day you get to experience some warmth, you are also still faced with autumn cold.
When it’s this kind of weather I do not go for thicker fabrics but I opt for multiple layers. When I’m not directly feeling the sunlight on my skin, I don’t really take in the warmth. Multiple layers allow me to take something off if necessary.
Completely on trend and perfect for Indian summer days is the poncho. The poncho combines comfort and elegance. When wearing a stylish poncho you instantly look chic. For inspiration I suggest you take a look at Burberry. The collection includes block colors and very diverse prints. Burberry also offers the possibility of personalizing your look by having your initials printed on your poncho.
I’m wearing a leopard printed poncho (brand: Lola Liza), a black pencil dress (brand: LaDress) and calf high booties (brand: Jimmy Choo).
